Blog Post #5 Hemp facts

Hemp uses and carbon footprint.

Did you know... (#001)

Hemp is one of the fastest growing plants and can reach up to 4 metres in as little as 100 days so crops can be harvested up to 3 times per year!

It requires little water and is naturally resistant to many insect species and diseases so doesn't need harsh chemicals to grow.

With minimal use of fertilisers and zero use of pesticides and herbicides Hemp is a 'carbon negative' crop. It's proven to absorb more carbon dioxide per hectare than any other commercial farm or forest making it a great sustainable option for many industrial and consumer purposes.
